Medieval Factions
Medieval Factions is a faction system inspired by the original factions plugin. It aims to simulate sovereign nations by allowing players to create nations, write laws, duel, claim land, and engage in politics. For more information please visit the Spigot page and GitHub repository.
Below is a list of useful commands used by the plugin.

/mf create | Creates a new faction. |
/mf invite [player-name] | Sends an invite to another player to join the sender's faction. |
/mf join [faction-name] | Sends a request to a faction to join the faction. |
/mf rename [new-name] | Renames the player's faction. |
/mf desc [description] | Sets the description of the player's faction. |
/mf promote [player-name] | Promotes a player within the faction to a officer role. |
/mf sethome | Sets the faction's current home. |
/mf home | Teleports the player to the player's faction current home. |
/mf laws | Gets the current laws of the player's faction. |
/mf al [law description] | Adds a law to the player's faction. |
/mf el [law number] | Edit a law in the player's faction. |
/mf rl [law number] [new law description] | Removes a law in the player's faction. |
/mf cc | Checks if the chunk the player is in is claimed. |
/mf claim | Claims the chunk the player is in for the player's faction territory. Also used in conjunction with war to claim a enemy faction's territory if their power level is lower than the current player's faction's power level. |
/mf unclaim | Removes a specific chunk from the player's faction territory. |
/mf ac | Toggles auto claiming. |
/mf ua | Removes the chunk the player is in from the player's faction. |
/mf map | Text based map view of claims. |
/mf info | Views the player's faction's wars and alliances. |
/mf dw [faction-name] | Declares war against a faction for the player's faction. |
/mf mp | Requests peace with a faction for the player's faction. |
/mf ally [faction-name] | Sends a request from the player's faction to another faction to form an alliance. |
/mf breakalliance [faction-name] | Removes the player's faction alliance with another faction. |

Guidelines
Etiquette
Although the server may include some of your friends, there are other people on the server you may not know. Its important to respect other players build space and items; if you find your self needing an item or wanting to build close to someone, make sure to ask for permission. Be polite to other players that you don't know and don't force them to do something or play a certain way. Below is a list of things to keep in mind, but do note these are not enforced.
- Be polite and respectful to other players.
- Ask for permission concerning builds, items, or games.
- Do not force anyone to do something they are unwilling to.
- Take responsibility for your interactions between players.
Rules
Below is a list of rules that are enforced by the server. Anyone found to be breaking the rules will be kicked or banned from the server.
- Do not intentionally grief other players or the world.
- Do not use the server for illegal activities.
- Harassment and other related behaviors are not tolerated.
- Do not intentionally do anything that will decrease server performance or shut down the server.
